Introduction: Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) contributes to fetal tolerance by regulating innate and adaptive immune responses during pregnancy. Our previous results suggested a pregnancy protective effect of hCG through enhancement of regulatory T (Treg) cells and inhibition of dendritic cell (DC) maturation.
